About
The about page – well what am I and this blog about?
First I am a father and husband, I have a daughter born in September 2008 named Tabitha and a wife Kirsty. We live in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, Australia. We also have 1 dog – a border collie X German Shepard named Ajax and a cat named Pepper. I am the main carer for Tabitha as Kirsty works full-time to support my studying so that leaves me as a full-time dad, a job I don’t think could ever be topped.
Secondly I am a student. I am currently in my final year of my undergraduate degree at the University of South Australia (UniSA). The degree I am enrolled in is a Bachelor of Sustainable Environments (Geographical Information Systems), it mainly looks at analysis of spatial data. When I finish this I will be moving on to what I really want to do – Masters of Geoinformatics and Surveying.
Thirdly I am a Survey Assistant for Engineering Surveys (Engineering Surveys Website). I am basically an assistant to the Surveyor and when I finish my Masters I will get my own assistant. I mainly work in the Engineering/Building side of Engineering things such as the Adelaide Oval redevelopment, Tram-Line Extension, High-Rise buildings and the likes.
Lastly I am a sports fanatic. Anything sport I want to try it, watch it, know about it. My two main loves are Basketball and Aussie Rules Football. I play basketball socially twice a week and football in the Amateur League for Brahma Lodge football club on Saturdays.
Enough about me, I hope you enjoy reading what I get up to, am thinking and just general things about life.
